YOUR ROLE AT PRECISELY

The Sales Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role on the Deal Desk team facilitating complex sales and driving revenue growth while ensuring compliance with Precisely processes and policies. Collaborating closely with many cross-functional teams, including Sales, Shared Services, Finance, Legal, and Product, you will be the expert in Precisely deal structures, pricing and quotes. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong analytical ability, and an eye for detail to assist the CRO organization in reaching its revenue targets.

YOUR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deal Management: Facilitate the end-to-end lifecycle of new business including complex and non-standard deals, optimizing for revenue growth, risk mitigation, policy compliance, and timeliness. Advise Sales on structure, pricing strategies, and required approvals. Support the creation of quotes and proposals.
  • Collaboration: Be a trusted advisor to Sales and other cross-functional teams through pre-booking reviews, coordinated discussions and information sharing across Revenue Operations, Renewals, Shared Services, Legal, Finance, and Product.
  • Deal Compliance: Review standard and complex sales transactions for completeness, adherence to Precisely policy, and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Training and Enablement: Support onboarding of new sellers and sales teams through hiring and acquisition.
  • Recommend ease-of-use, scalability, and standardization improvements for systems, processes or policies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Operations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Precisely go-to-market methodology and product offerings.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
  • Analytical, conflict management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years experience with Sales Operations and Support functions.
