Intro and job overview:

This Marketing Operations Specialist role will join a rockstar marketing operations team that moves quickly and works cross functionally to achieve our goals. This role will primarily be focused around supporting our demand generation team. We’re looking for a creative thinker with great attention to detail who can help the marketing team achieve our goal of lead acquisition and conversion. Activities will include setting up segments and campaigns, planning campaign logic and routing, importing leads according to our data standards, and analyzing campaign performance to identify areas of optimization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepare and manage lead import to marketing automation platform
  • Maintain process workflow for campaigns, lead routing, list uploads, and data management between sales and marketing systems
  • Help manage our database including list import cleanliness, data accuracy, segmentation, and ensuring compliance with privacy laws
  • Responsible for daily hands-on work including the creation, testing, and implementation of: marketing emails, landing pages, dynamic content, and A/B testing
  • Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness including email and conversion metrics and down funnel attribution
  • Troubleshoot any issues or failures with current marketing automation integrations with various platforms and assist in the integration of additional platforms
  • Contribute to our knowledge base of processes and how-to docs

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience related to operations or marketing
  • Experience with marketing automation and salesforce a plus
  • Ability to think through and communicate technical issues independently as well as in a group
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Goal-oriented, highly confident, self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Moderate Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Adaptable to new challenges
