PlaceIQ is a part of Precisely, the leader in data integrity. Precisely PlaceIQ is seeking an Account Executive to join PlaceIQ’s sales team to drive revenue for our data license solutions for advertisers and client-direct businesses. This is a quota carrying role & the ideal candidate will have experience selling data licenses and DaaS solutions into large enterprises. The Account Executive is a results-focused, high-energy, sales professional who will identify and bring to closure direct data sales engagements. This person will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes opportunities for PlaceIQ’s data products and services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and execute actions and business plans to generate revenue for new business within assigned named territory.
• Understand client’s business problems and be able to strategize with the customer to apply PlaceIQ’s solutions to address the business problems.
• Manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders which includes needs identification, value mapping, proof of concept, negotiations and contracting to deal closure.
• Articulate and deliver value propositions for the PlaceIQ’s data product portfolio based upon ROI cost/ benefit analysis.
• Document sales steps utilizing Salesforce CRM throughout a sales cycle.
• Drive pipeline growth through effective prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Contribute to market strategy by monitoring market data, competitive products and prospect feedback.
• Continually identify market trends, translating these into prospecting priorities.
• Work with Marketing and Sales Operations to develop new collateral, thought leadership topics and problem-solving use cases that will generate leads and pipeline for PlaceIQ data licenses.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement).
• 4+ years experience in data sales or business development of DaaS products.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners and within the Company.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills will be an added advantage.
• Good business maturity, negotiating and decision-making skills will be an added advantage.
• Ability to accurately prioritize and manage time/resources for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Aggressive quota-based mentality with a consultative sales approach and proven track record of quota over-achievement.
• Experience selling-in third party data such as Foursquare POI data, Acxiom, Experian, etc. a plus. Knowledge of location data a plus.
• Travel required: approximately <25%.
