You’ll be working in the EngageOne line of business, helping to bring exciting emerging technologies together into an enterprise-class cohesive solution set for our clients. You’ll be engaged both in maintaining the existing mature foundation products and developing new solutions. We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience eager to learn and grow in test automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about enhancing their technical skills and contributing to the team's success through collaboration and knowledge sharing. A team player with a passion for quality assurance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborating with the Product Owner and Development team to understand and assist in designing and developing new features.
- Create, maintain, review, and execute test cases and test plans; investigating, logging, tracking, and retesting defects with mentorship from experienced QAs.
- Working closely with other QA team members to learn and adopt best practices and knowledge.
- Assisting in ensuring the reliability of the CICD process and developing an understanding of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Assisting in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure thorough feature and/or product testing, with a focus on learning and developing automation skills.
- Supporting the maintenance and extension of the testing framework (written in Java) under the guidance of senior team members.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related fields.
- Ability to work in office in Bielsko-Biała at least 4 days in a week
- Basic knowledge of the Java programming language, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in creating automated software tests.
- Exposure to creating and maintaining API automated tests is a plus.
- Some experience or coursework related to quality assurance with REST applications (both manual and automation) is preferred.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with other Software and Quality Engineers.
- Familiarity with version control systems and a basic understanding of code repositories.
- Essential soft skills: punctuality, openness, and a collaborative mindset.
- Enthusiasm for Software Development: A genuine interest in software development, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to personal growth within an experienced and diverse team.
Preferred requirements:
- Exposure to performance testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab).
- Some experience or understanding of cloud environments (preferably AWS).
- English written and verbal skills at least at an Intermediate level.
