YOUR ROLE AT PRECISELY

Precisely’s data integration, data quality, location intelligence, and data enrichment products power better business decisions to create better outcomes. We are looking for talented individuals with the experience and motivation to join our innovative team.

Precisely is looking for a Senior Account Executive who will achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration, and growth for Precisely’s Data Integration and IBM Mainframe infrastructure solutions. In order to be considered for this role, the candidate must have a good understanding of one or more of the following: Data Integration (ETL & CDC, and machine data integration), and IBM mainframe; this includes mainframe modernization and re-platforming to Cloud.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will effectively be developing direct customers and working with Technology partners like AWS, Confluent, Splunk and ServiceNow -as well as key Systems Integrators - to meet Precisely’s rapid growth plans and developing attractive propositions that grows direct business in large enterprise target customers.

YOUR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You Will:

  • Learn and understand Precisely products and services
  • Follow Precisely’s sales methodology (Force Management’s Command of the Message and Command of the Sales)
  • Report to the VP of Sales, and support the VP of Sales in accordance with the region’s strategy and plans
  • Meet or exceed revenue quota targets
  • Develop and execute actions and business plans to generate revenue for new business within assigned territory
  • Work closely with account managers and partners, or directly with customers to close large enterprise deals
  • Work closely with Precisely’s Pre-sales, Professional Services and Renewals teams to create compelling business propositions based on Precisely solutions
  • Manage territory, including expenses, within established plan to maintain financial integrity.
  • Effectively administer Precisely’s partner company agreements and policies. This position does not possess signature authority to obligate the Company in agreements with any third party.
  • Document sales steps utilizing Precisely’s Salesforce CRM tool.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in ICT, Business or related field, or equivalent experience desired.
  • 5+ years Enterprise Software sales experience with quantifiable track record of meeting quotas in excess of £1million.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Excellent selling skills and the ability to close business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business, operations and technical acumen.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Good business maturity, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
  • Good understanding of Data Integration (ETL & CDC), IBM mainframe systems, including selling into larger, complex mainframe modernization projects.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Solid sales experience with a strong Data Integration company, like Qlik, Informatica, IBM, or similar.
  • Solid experience in IBM Mainframe tools
