Precisely is seeking an analytically curious Sales Insights & Analytics Manager that identifies, builds and enhances reporting capability and data driven insights in a software sales environment. This role demands a high-energy, well-organized, collaborative, and inclusive team member who is not only adept at developing and managing forecasting analytics and operations, but also possesses a keen interest in exploring data to uncover hidden insights. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and own a series of insights driven reporting and analysis
  • Contribute to developing a culture steeped in curiosity, openness and collaboration.
  • Lead and manage forecasting analytics to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring predictable and repeatable growth in a software sales setting.
  • Assist with annual planning activities in partnership with the broader Sales Operations team, ensuring alignment with the evolving company strategy and organizational goals.
  • Craft and deliver executive presentations, showcasing the ability to distill complex software sales data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Establish and manage operational cadence to enhance productivity and streamline workflows in a software sales environment.
  • Drive the development and delivery of data packs to business leaders on a regular basis to provide insights, trigger robust conversation and lead to acceleration of sales overall, across whitespace, renewals, customer success, channels and traditional field sales. Such reporting includes Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs, monitoring sales performance data for actionable insights specific to software sales.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and plans, adjusting strategies based on market conditions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in business or similar discipline preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations or insights/analytics, with a significant portion within the software sales environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Salesforce, Excel, and Tableau. Bonus points for experience in Clari and/or other BI tools.
  • Experience developing reporting and dashboards from scratch. Tableau Desktop report writing a must.
  • Solid business acumen, strategic planning, problem-solving, presentation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on software sales.
