Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing software products and features within the B2B Integration line of business. You will take ownership of the codebase, build processes, and automation pipelines. Working in an agile team, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software in B2B Integration, EDI, and Managed File Transfer domains.
- Build and maintain APIs and programs using Java, Spring, and version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimates, and contribute to design and code reviews.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of product features, from concept to deployment.
- Improve code quality and address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Reproduce customer issues in-house and work with QA and Support teams for resolution.
- Debug and implement fixes across multiple product areas and environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product features and changes.
- Collaborate effectively in an Agile team environment and promote knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of industry experience in enterprise Java application development and deployment using Kubernetes.
- Proven experience in Cloud-Native Application Development and Microservices Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience in building and consuming REST APIs for scalable, modern applications.
- Proficiency with SQL databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.).
- Experience with at least one major Cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of Application Security concepts and implementation.
- Experience working with open-source libraries in complex enterprise product architectures.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift (RH OCP) or other container platforms.
- Exposure to UI technologies such as React or Angular and design systems like Carbon.
