Overview:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Developer to join our Customer Engagement Solutions business line. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of modern communication industry product used across the globe. This position is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills and gain valuable experience in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

You will:

  • Be responsible for performing development tasks for application, deployed on AWS under the guidance of more experienced team members
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of product features, collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality results
  • Identify and help resolve issues and problems throughout the development cycle, learning from your colleagues and sharing your insights
  • Working in SCRUM methodology with 2 weeks sprints, which are followed by sprint review
  • Work with international UX team and Product Management
  • Use English in daily communication

What you will do:

  • Developing application, deployed on AWS, written in Java, Node.js and Python (60%)
  • Maintaining and creating automated Java tests scenarios (20%)
  • Working closely with Product Owner and UX team on designing and developing new features (10%)
  • Making code reviews for other team members (10%)

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program pursuing a relevant major.
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and practices, along with familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, Node.js).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including excellent critical thinking and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools, such as AWS, Angular, and Git.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, on-site at the Bielsko-Biała office.

Preferred requirements:

  • Prior experience or internships in software development, web development, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and serverless technology, such as AWS
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks, such as Angular.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, and using project management tools like Jira.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaboration tools like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, enhancing your ability to communicate with international team members and clients.
