Overview:

Join our Product Management team and become a driving force behind the Master Data Management Product (MDM) group. In this pivotal role, you'll delve into market trends across our existing and target customer segments, transforming insights into actionable business requirements, functional use cases, and compelling product solutions involving AI. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll emerge as the subject matter expert on MDM, guiding product development and supporting sales with your deep product knowledge and market insights. Your expertise will identify growth opportunities, inform strategy, and ensure our products continue to meet the evolving needs of our market.

What you will do:

  • Manage Product Requirements: Gather and prioritize product needs from customers, sales, support, and other teams. Create clear documentation (MRDs and PRDs), and work with Engineering to build the roadmaps.
  • Develop Business Plans: Collaborate and contribute to create long-term business plans for selected market segments. Track performance and update stakeholders regularly.
  • Build Business Cases: Support product decisions, use of AI, and partnerships with solid business models and justifications.
  • Communicate Effectively: Share updates clearly through documents, emails, and presentations. Ensure stakeholders understand market trends and product direction.
  • Provide Leadership: Be the voice of the customer and influence the direction of the product.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, Strategic Planning, and other product teams to make informed decisions and expand product influence.
  • Track Success Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure goals are being met.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience: 8+ years of product management experience building data products, shared services, or internal-facing capabilities used by multiple product teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields is helpful but not required.
  • Product Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver solutions specifically in product information management or other data domains—such as material master, customer master, reference data, etc.
  • Experience with a broad spectrum of data management practices, including data quality, data integration, data governance, and metadata management.
  • Experience with AI: Demonstrated expertise in justifying and embedding AI in products.
  • Hybrid Cloud Expertise: Experience with hybrid cloud deployments and SaaS solutions, particularly in AWS.
  • Strategic & Execution Skills: Proven ability to define platform standards, manage complex stakeholder groups, and drive execution in an Agile environment with multiple dependent teams and a high-volume feature backlog.
  • Conceptual Technical Proficiency: Comfortable partnering with engineering on high-level architectural decisions involving APIs, integrations, platform services, and hybrid deployment models.
  • Tools & Methodology Experience: Hands-on experience with Agile development practices and product tools such as Aha!. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional initiatives across product lines.
  • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, demanding business environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional groups, management, sales and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of work
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, managerial, and organizational skills
