Business development executive for the high-tech sector

We are looking for an experienced sales-oriented executive to accelerate our growth within the high-tech sector. You will be responsible for defining Priority’s strategy for expanding its footprint in the high-tech sector, creating an actionable plan for success (encompassing all aspects, such as marketing, sales, alliances, product and services), and driving the execution of the plan to deliver expected results.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the high-tech go-to-market strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Channel Partner Management: Maintain strong and trustful relationships with channel partners, provide them with the necessary support to enhance enable their success, and constantly look for additional partners in order to scale up.
  • Sales Management: Manage direct sales processes, from lead to order, and support channel partners throughout indirect sales cycles.
  • Direct Client Engagement: Manage relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and/or mitigate any risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, pre-sale, product, support, customer service and R&D.
  • Market Insights: Be attentive to customer and partner feedback to identify market trends and growth opportunities and feed such insights into the company’s strategic decision-making processes.

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience in either (i) senior finance roles in high-tech companies or (ii) sales roles in software companies with high-tech clientele (including development and execution of sales strategies).
  • Rich network within the high-tech community and access to senior finance personnel in high-tech companies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing long-term relationships with customers and partners.
  • Ability to effectively provide oversight over transformation project execution with a focus on risk mitigation, issue resolution, and customer management.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, corporate governance and performance management principles (including the unique aspects of high-tech organizations);
  • Hands-on approach;
  • An understanding of financial systems – A must.
  • BA in accounting or business administration.
