We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help accelerate pipeline creation in North America. This is not a high-volume transactional SDR role. It is a business-focused, outbound-first role designed for someone who wants to build a career in complex B2B sales.

You will be the first point of contact for many Priority prospects and play a key role in shaping how Priority is positioned in the market.

Responsibilities:

Pipeline Creation & Qualification:

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through a balanced mix of outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification (approximately 60% outbound / 40% inbound).
  • Prospect into mid-market companies ($20M–$250M revenue) in Priority's core verticals, including manufacturing, distribution, and services.
  • Engage senior personas including CFOs, COOs, Heads of Operations, IT Directors, and Controllers.
  • Research target accounts to identify trigger events such as growth, system limitations, M&A, PE ownership, compliance pressure, or operational complexity.

Outbound Prospecting:

  • Execute multi-touch outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and targeted campaigns.
  • Develop account-specific messaging aligned to Priority's differentiation (flexibility, multi-entity support, operational depth).
  • Work from defined ICP lists and named accounts, not generic lead lists.

Discovery & Qualification:

  • Conduct structured first conversations to understand business context, challenges, urgency, and buying process.
  • Qualify opportunities against agreed criteria before handing off to Account Executives.
  • Deliver clean, high-context handoffs that enable AEs to advance deals efficiently.


Collaboration & Process:

  • Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to continuously improve targeting, messaging, and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene (HubSpot), ensuring visibility into activity, pipeline, and outcomes.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality, messaging resonance, and market signals.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales Development, BDR, or early-stage sales (B2B software preferred).
  • Comfort with outbound prospecting and engaging senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong business curiosity and ability to understand operational and financial challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization, follow-through, and ownership.
  • Experience using CRM and prospecting tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or similar).
  • Exposure to ERP, accounting, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain environments – Strong Plus.
  • Experience selling into mid-market or operationally complex organizations – Strong Plus.
  • Familiarity with structured qualification (MEDDPICC, BANT+, etc.) – Strong Plus.
