The Opportunity:
PureSpectrum is seeking a high-capacity, detail-oriented Sr. Manager, Accounting & Finance to play a critical role in supporting the Financial Controller and the overall maturity and scalability of our global Finance operations.
As a Sr. Manager, Accounting & Finance, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, overseeing the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and maintaining internal controls. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can lead cross-functional initiatives and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will manage key process areas, mentor staff, and serve as the primary deputy to the Financial Controller. Success in this role requires the agility to pivot between meticulous transactional oversight and high-level strategic collaboration.
Location: Westlake Village, CA. This position is hybrid. Candidates must be able to commute to the Westlake Village headquarters 3 days a week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Team & Process Management: Directly supervise AP and staff accounting teams while driving workflow automation and scalable "best practice" optimizations.
  • Global Ops: Oversee full-cycle AP, global payroll compliance, and corporate spend platforms for domestic and international entities.
  • GL Management: Drive the end-to-end consolidation and close process, acting as the primary reviewer for all journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage complex multi-entity transactions, intercompany eliminations, and fixed asset schedules, while supporting new GAAP implementations.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the Controller in producing GAAP-compliant consolidated statements, management packages, and international statutory reports.
  • Tax & Treasury: Ensure rigorous daily cash flow controls and oversee global tax compliance (VAT/GST, 1120s, 1065s).
  • Audit Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors to ensure a seamless annual audit.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and document robust frameworks to mitigate risk and safeguard global corporate assets.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance management role, such as Finance Director or Controller, with a track record of successful financial leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing finance team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong integrity and ethics in handling financial matters.

The pay range for this role is:
$125,000 - $150,000 USD per year DOE (Hybrid (Westlake Village, California, US))
