The Opportunity:
PureSpectrum is seeking a Billing Specialist to help support the maturity of our Finance operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to continue your career by joining our growing PureSpectrum team in an accounting support role.
As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for the full billing operations of PureSpectrum’s regional operations. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully facilitate onboarding, billing, and dispute resolution by maintaining strong relationships and communication with customers and colleagues. The job requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can successfully manage tasks, processes, and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location: Hyderabad, India - requiring in-office presence of 3 days a week.
Global Time Zone : North America -US Timing (6:00PM to 3:00 AM IST)
Your Responsibilities:
  • Billing clients upon project/month closure from integrated invoicing system including reviews and adjustments [40%]
  • Preparing manual invoices for prepayment, additional services, etc. [10%]
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies/disputes [30%]
  • Onboarding clients, including credit application and contract review for revenue implications [10%]
  • Recognizing unbilled revenue at month-end and deferred revenue at project completion [5%]
  • Performing month-end revenue reviews [5%]
  • Executing reporting and special projects as assigned [Ad hoc]
Requirements:
  • Candidates should have 5+ years of accounting experience (experience in the Market Research industry or SAAS companies preferred)
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance — such as M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA / CA Inter — from a recognised university.
  • Strong understanding of book-keeping principles and deep experience in billing and invoicing clients. Hands on experience in resolving invoice discrepancies/disputes.
  • Proficiency in onboarding clients, including credit application and contract review for revenue implications. Experience in working with global clients especially in North America region is preferred.
  • Ability and experience in fostering collaboration with Sales and Services teams.
  • Experience working with QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, and/or Sage Intacct a plus.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, comfort with the full Microsoft Office product suite, and familiarity with CRM tools (i.e., Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills for handling a client facing role
  • Strong follow-through skills
  • Well-developed time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Solid judgement and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of project management tools and concepts
  • Strong analytical aptitude, results oriented mindset with great attention to detail
