The Role:

The Production Manager is responsible for providing leadership, company-wide coordination, guidance and influence to their assigned shift. This manager oversees and ensures the safe, efficient and quality manufacturing processes for batching and filling operations.

What You Will Do:.

• Responsible for the accuracy of the documentation required to support production activities
• Determine temporary staffing requirements
• Comply with production schedule requirements
• Track metrics data and analyze results
• Recommend production department improvements
• Lead safety awareness and compliance for team by enforcing OSHA regulations and company policies
• Conduct labor studies and production/packaging testing
• Assures compliance to all procedures and policies concerning all areas of quality, housekeeping,
• safety and production.
• Adhere to all customer and plant specifications including maintaining proper cGMP’s
• Directly selects, trains and supervises employees
• Assures employees understand duties and responsibilities, and reviews and appraises employee performance against established expectations and company policies.
• Reviews and or initiates all personnel and organizational changes.

What You Will Bring:

• 5-10 years of experience in production management is required
• Requires the ability to make sound judgments
• Develop credibility with all department managers
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required
• Maintain positive assertive influence over subordinates
• Manage in a matrixed environment (since the position manages several inter-related yet separate
• functions.)
• Must have strong process and equipment analysis skills in production operations.
