The Role:

Calling all beer enthusiasts and home brewers! Our National Business Development Manager is on a mission to boost revenue for Five Star Chemicals by driving sales and managing key accounts. This role doesn't just focus on expanding our biggest accounts but also seeks out new opportunities through dedicated sales efforts, both inside and outside. The manager will collaborate with sales operations, customer service, marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams to identify and seize new sales opportunities, ensuring we hit our revenue growth targets. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Specialty Beverage, this position underscores our commitment to making life easier for every craft beverage maker.

What You Will Do:.

  • Achieve annual sales budgets.
  • Manage and deepen corporate relationships with existing primary distributor key accounts.
  • Support primary distributor relationships via ride-a-longs, joint presentations, and on-site training with new prospects.
  • Develop and support new and existing home brew dealer relationships.
  • Increase market share and add distribution nationally with craft breweries.
  • Develop and maintain new direct craft customer relationships that align with growth objectives.
  • Provide technical support for elevated customer care and solve technical product application problems.
  • Collaborate on development of training and marketing materials.
  • Negotiation of pricing & planning with new customers.
  • Attend tradeshows & industry events.
  • Reporting of all sales activity, customer information, & opportunities.
  • Provide forecasting support to sales operations and S&OP teams.
  • Travel required up to 60%

What You Will Bring:

  • 5 or more years of relevant technical sales experience in the craft brewing or specialty beverage space.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of sales concepts such as relationship building, managing a sales budget, customer care, reporting, delivering presentations, and partnering with distributors.
  • Successfully implementing time management skills multitasking multiple client needs, support issues, requests, and projects.
  • Proven ability to take initiative to research and apply new technology and concepts to help address support issues and help articulate best of best approaches to support/service requests.
