The Role:
The role will sit within our In-House Agency, HomeShine Studios, on the Social Studio team and will report into the Senior Marketing Manager, Social + Content. This role will be a part of a dynamic, growing, and entrepreneurial team with the opportunity to contribute to a portfolio of growing brands. The Marketing Associate, Social + Content will be responsible for supporting select brands in the social and influencer space.
What You Will Do:.
- The responsibilities will be defined by the Senior Marketing Manager, Social + Content, which will primarily include supporting the marketing function in the social and influencer activities
- Monitor social landscape for proactive and reactive trends on which our brands could activate against
- Collaborate with social creative team to strategize and develop proactive and reactive content
- Assist with reporting and analyzing monthly performance against KPIs such as impressions, engagement rate, and audience growth to guide and optimize overall social strategy
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers + influencer partners, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and manage online reputation.
- Manage publishing of all organic social content
- Source relevant user generated content & acquire user permission so content can be shared on brand channels; systematize and save UGC within internal organizational systems
- Support execution of social commerce activities (ex: Tiktok Shop)
- Support the development of influencer briefs and reviewing influencer content
- Own internal organization and rights management of all social and influencer content
- Aid in market research & competitive analysis
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
- BS/BA in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field
- 2-4 years relevant work experience – must have a background in social media, community management, social analytics, and/or social listening
- Highly engaged in and active on social media; familiar with executing on all core social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok)
- Passion for developing 1:1 consumer relationships and enhancing brand communities
- Experience with the backend of social platforms specifically for publishing, reporting and audience insights
- Experience understanding and delivering on specific brand voices
- Understanding of influencer marketing programs from an executional standpoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment while maintaining a great attention to detail
- Strong communication & writing skills
- Creative and innovative thinker, organized, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented
- Ability to interface with many departments
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Works independently/self-starter
- Experience with social + influencer management tools a plus (ex: Statusphere, Agorapulse)
- A mixture of both agency and brand-side experience a plus
