The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Platform Architect with over 10 years of expertise to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and a proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design and Strategy:
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions.
- Define and implement technical architecture strategies, roadmaps, and solutions for Salesforce platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Salesforce best practices and methodologies.
- Provide guidance to Virtual Architecture Team (VAT) Council, engage in design reviews and approvals.
- Solution Implementation:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
- Oversee the development and integration of custom applications and solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Technical Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and trends to ensure the organization leverages the full capabilities of the platform.
- Perform proof of concept (POCs) and new and forward-looking SF platform features fitting to business needs.
- Develop and execute on technical roadmap.
- System Maintenance and Optimization:
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular system audits, implement best practices for data management, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Present technical solutions and architecture recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation.
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and others.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, data migration strategies, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Salesforce Architect Certification (Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect) is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of other CRM systems and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft).
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Certification, familiarity, and experience with implementation of the TOGAF Framework.
- Certified: MuleSoft Platform Architect.
- Certified: MuleSoft Integration Architect.
