The Opportunity

Riskonnect is seeking a Sales Executive to drive new business across Australasia. This role is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of our Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions within a defined territory.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Client Services, Support, Professional Services, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering. Partnering with a Sales Engineer, you will identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions that create strong, long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end sales execution and achieve quarterly revenue targets
  • Build and leverage relationships with C-level stakeholders across Governance, Risk and Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security, IT, Compliance, and Internal Audit
  • Develop and execute targeted account plans, including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, product demonstrations, and deal closure
  • Lead complex sales cycles and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrate strong SaaS sales expertise with a proven track record of success
  • Maintain a high level of organisation across pipeline, activities, and opportunities
  • Manage time and territory effectively, including 20 to 30 percent overnight travel

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably within Governance, Risk, and Compliance, risk management, business continuity, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software sales with the ability to clearly articulate business value to stakeholders
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Skilled communicator and relationship builder with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients
  • Experience selling into Governance, Risk, and Compliance, IT, Risk, or similar functions is highly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to build compelling business cases
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals effectively
  • Highly organised with the ability to track activities, opportunities, and contacts in Salesforce daily
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, pipeline coverage, and forecasting
  • Experience with enterprise sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger
  • Proficiency with go-to-market tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
