Responsibilities
- Support the design, development and roll-out of annual compensation plans. Includes the launch of annual plans as well as in-year onboarding of new colleagues and changes for existing colleagues, where needed.
- Implement and administer compensation plans, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication with business leaders across various functions.
- Support the Budget process and provide variance analysis on monthly actuals.
- Inform commission expense forecasting and accruals for NetSuite as part of monthly board reporting.
- Optimize and systemize incentive processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Work with solution contractors to adapt, systemize and manage various plan structure and components.
- Manage approvals and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate incentive calculations and payouts.
- Monitor and refine how we report on and capture information relating to one-off SPIFF’s and MBO’s.
- Analyze compensation data to evaluate plan effectiveness, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Support training and education efforts to ensure Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, Pre-Sales / Sales Engineers and Services teams clearly understand compensation structures, maximizing motivation and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting field.
- 4+ years of experience managing and administering various compensation plans or 6+ years demonstrated experience working in a finance role with transferable skills.
- Experience in systemizing and automating complex workflows is preferred.
- Prior experience with Xactly/Zinkt administration and/or Salesforce administration is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experience working to a deadline.
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools for data analysis and modeling.
