What you will do:
We are looking for a Director of Sales to join our team, embodying our core values of integrity, teamwork, and commitment to client success. In this role, you will focus on expanding our customer base for our sales coaching solution, iCoach. Success will be achieved by building and nurturing trustworthy relationships and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to enhance and communicate our unique value proposition. This position reports to the SVP, Sales – Life Sciences.

iCoachFirst is a leading field development and coaching platform, particularly designed for the life sciences sector. It integrates essential coaching and development tools into a single, flexible, mobile application. This platform is especially tailored for field sales organizations, making it a top choice for companies looking to enhance employee engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales
• Drive sales to life science organizations in North America.
• Focus primarily on new customer acquisition, with some responsibility for growing existing customers and maintaining long lasting client relationships.
• Coordinate meetings with director-level and above to discuss RLDatix Life Science's vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with other RLD Team members on sales presentations, plans, and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
• Present compelling selling propositions to ultimate decision-makers.
• Regularly update the CRM system (SalesForce.com) with notes about prospect/client interactions and sales opportunities.
• Manage time effectively to ensure regular and frequent contact with sales prospects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all RLDatix Life Science’s products to perform effective sales activities.
• Conduct standard up to date presentations and demos to introduce all products and services to existing clients.


Marketing/Prospecting
• Responsible for enhancing product and service awareness among all key stakeholders, including new and prospective clients, while fostering strong relationships with external partners and affiliate organizations
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop awareness campaigns for designated product offerings
• Identify key stakeholders within target accounts through self-directed research.
• Identify the various buying influences within each targeted referral source.
• Determine the target contacts and establish the frequency of outreach to maintain consistent and effective engagement with sales prospects
• Attend industry trade shows as an RLDatix Life Sciences representative, independently managing the corporate booth and meeting with existing clients.
• Provide ongoing services, sales information, and other customer support assistance to maintain positive customer relations.
Internal Communications
• Ensure the Sales Manager is regularly updated on sales activities.
• Provide input and creativity to the sales plan, leveraging insights from continuous contact with industry representatives (sales contacts, clients, affiliates).
• Submit comprehensive monthly reports to management detailing sales successes, failures, competitive activity, performance vs. goals, impending sales successes, obstacles to success, customer complaints, next quarter’s revenue goals, number of sales calls, etc.
• Utilize Salesforce for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer profiles, records, and files within Salesforce.

Experience/Knowledge/Competencies You Will Need:

• Minimum of 5 years of software as a service (SaaS) sales experience in life sciences preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive pipeline management and strategic selling experience
• Experience with Salesforce.com as a CRM
• Ability to work within a matrix organization
• Ability to sustain good relationships with all support staff functions
• Ability to travel for onsite customers meetings and industry events
• Strong selling and account management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present formal presentations
• Very good negotiation and decision-making skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
