What You Will Do:
As a Technical Writer II, you will create clear, user-focused documentation that enhances the product experience for our customers. Working within the UI/UX R&D team, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to develop and maintain high-quality user guides, release notes, and feature overviews. You will leverage advanced authoring tools and data insights to ensure content accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with user needs. Using a product mindset, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support multi-channel publishing, and communicate complex information in a way that drives understanding and adoption among diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
User-Centric Documentation Development
- Apply user insights and product strategy to create clear, accessible release notes and guides that support user goals.
- Leverage user journey analysis and feedback to prioritise content topics and refine documentation structure.
- Translate complex product features into user-friendly materials that enhance customer understanding and product adoption.
Evidence-Based Content Creation
- Utilise qualitative and quantitative data to validate content effectiveness and inform documentation improvements.
- Process feedback from analytics, user research, and stakeholder reviews to identify documentation gaps and areas for enhancement.
- Participate in validation activities, iterating content based on measurable outcomes and user behaviour patterns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Owners, Developers, UX Designers, and customer-facing teams to ensure documentation aligns with product functionality.
- Support team goals by incorporating diverse feedback and participating in collaborative improvement initiatives.
- Build effective working relationships and adapt communication approaches to suit different team dynamics.
Technical Content Management
- Utilise advanced Help Authoring Tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, oXygen) to structure and single-source documentation for multi-channel publishing.
- Maintain and update content within content management systems, optimising for translation and accessibility standards.
- Ensure consistency of voice, terminology, and formatting across all product documentation assets.
Impactful Stakeholder Communication
- Translate technical concepts and product rationale into presentations and documentation tailored to diverse audiences.
- Support stakeholder understanding by delivering clear, concise content and adapting communication style as needed.
- Process feedback to refine messaging and participate in initiatives that improve documentation clarity and engagement.
Experience You Will Need:
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, user-centric release notes and guides by analysing user journeys and incorporating feedback into documentation.
- Proven capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, incorporating diverse perspectives to ensure documentation aligns with product requirements and enhances user experience.
- Ability to leverage analytics and research data to inform content decisions, ensuring documentation accuracy and relevance based on measurable user needs.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into accessible, well-structured content for varied audiences.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience utilising advanced Help Authoring Tools (such as MadCap Flare and oXygen) and content management systems to create and publish multi-channel technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for process automation.
- Familiarity with API documentation.

Areas Requiring Manager Input:
- Team Structure & Size: part of a team of 13 people reporting to an Engineering Manager
- Geographic Scope: working as part of the Skopje office but responsible for products of the global portfolio
- Technical Leadership Requirements: not mandatory. Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages will be very beneficial.
- Experience Specifications: no management experience required. Content or copy writing will be beneficial, especially in a tech company.
- Success Metrics: to be able to work independently contribute to the ongoing team initiatives using the existing tools in 3 months
- Career Progression: the candidate will be able to progress in accordance with a defined career ladder, starting from Technical Writer III; horizontal movements are also available.
- Stakeholder Management: the candidate is expected to communicate effectively with the team, Engineering, Product, Support and other functions.
