We’re searching for a Melbourne-based Workforce Consulting Manager to join our Workforce Management Implementation Services team, so that we can deliver standardised, high-impact workforce management platform implementations for our healthcare clients. The Workforce Consulting Manager will lead and develop a team of consultants to deliver scalable, configuration-based SaaS deployments that optimise client workforce processes, drive effective platform adoption, and support safer, better care.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Lead and develop the Workforce Management implementation services team to deliver standardised, configuration-based deployments of Optima (including BankStaff, SafeCare, Loop etc.) and RosterOn in order to achieve consistent, high-quality implementation outcomes.
  • Coach and guide team members on company policies, quality standards, and consulting best practices to ensure compliant, robust workforce management configurations and high-performing project delivery.
  • Oversee end-to-end implementation planning and execution for workforce management projects, including testing, validation and go-live readiness, to enable smooth onboarding, user adoption and change management.
  • Analyse operational and service delivery data to identify root causes of recurring challenges and to drive process improvements, workflow optimisation and more cost-effective, scalable service delivery.
  • Lead stakeholder and client partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor who translates workforce challenges into practical, data-driven solutions that align with client strategies and operational needs.
  • Champion AI and automation enablement across implementation workflows by identifying automation opportunities, supporting the adoption of AI-enabled processes, and monitoring efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Support financial resource management for implementation activities, including monitoring budget adherence, assessing operational spend and contributing to cost-benefit decisions that enhance value realisation for customers.

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • 6+ years’ experience leading service delivery projects to clients on time and on budget, or 6+ years’ leadership experience within the Health and Technology sector, or a 10+ year combination of both in relevant services roles.
  • Proven success in managing operational teams to deliver standardised SaaS platform implementations, consistently meeting defined performance metrics and monthly delivery targets.
  • Deep knowledge of Workforce Management systems (including award interpretation, scheduling and compliance) and a strong understanding of payroll compliance, industrial awards and enterprise agreements.
  • In-depth understanding of hospitals, healthcare operations and the challenges faced by provider organisations, with a commercial and client-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse operational data, identify process improvement opportunities and optimise service workflows to improve customer outcomes and drive cost-effective delivery.
  • Proven capability to instruct, coach and enable staff on AI-enabled automation initiatives and process enhancements, ensuring effective adoption of new workflows and technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships that support successful platform adoption and workforce outcomes.
  • Ability to commute to Melbourne, Australia as required for collaboration with clients, team members and stakeholders.
  • Sincere interest in improving healthcare through safer, better workforce management and a passion for leveraging technology and data to solve complex operational challenges.
  • A knack for working collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented SaaS environment while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning and professional excellence.
