We're searching for a London-based Senior Tax Manager, Advisory to join our Corporate Finance team, so that we can advance our global tax strategy and strengthen compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The Senior Tax Manager, Advisory will develop and execute advanced tax strategies, translate complex legislation into practical business guidance, and manage tax risk across the enterprise to support organisational growth and business-critical decision-making. Reporting to a VP/Senior Director of Tax and partnering with a US Tax Manager and external service providers, you'll serve as the go-to resource on UK tax matters, lead responses to tax audits, and foster productive relationships with authorities, advisors, and external stakeholders.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Oversee UK tax filings and other non-US/Canadian tax jurisdictions (e.g., Germany, Sweden, Australia) to drive efficiency, accuracy, and automation across compliance and reporting processes
  • Manage the tax provision process in accordance with IAS 12 in order to ensure full alignment with internal controls
  • Prepare and oversee UK VAT filings and indirect tax filings across international jurisdictions to safeguard compliance and reporting integrity
  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives in order to optimise the company's tax position and advise on the tax implications of key business decisions
  • Provide expert guidance on tax matters relating to mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities to ensure optimal integration of tax considerations into deal structures
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and resolve inquiries from tax authorities in order to mitigate exposure and maintain strong regulatory relationships
  • Monitor and analyse changes in tax legislation to assess business impact and translate evolving requirements into actionable guidance
  • Evaluate and improve tax operational processes by leveraging technology platforms and digital tools to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Oversee the development and documentation of transfer pricing policies in order to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to advise on evolving compliance requirements and align operational activities with legal obligations

What Kind of Things We're Most Interested in You Having

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant tax experience, preferably including public accounting and corporate tax department experience
  • Proven success in developing and implementing complex, multi-jurisdictional tax strategies that optimise efficiency while ensuring full regulatory compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of UK tax law, ASC 740/IAS 12, US GAAP/IFRS, and general knowledge of non-UK corporate income tax laws (e.g., Australia, Germany, Sweden), along with proficiency in tax preparation software and advanced Excel
  • Ability to commute to our London office on a hybrid basis
  • Sincere interest in leveraging financial and tax technology platforms and digital tools to automate tax processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • A knack for working collaboratively within a dynamic, cross-functional, and global corporate finance environment
  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; chartered accountancy designation or other relevant certification (advanced degree or studies is a plus)
  • Experience in the healthcare or technology industry is a plus
