This senior role focuses on the direct sales of Russell Investments solutions, funds and services in Italy, with a primary focus on Private Markets. The main task is to develop partnerships with different clients such as distributors (networks of FAS, private banking and banks), institutional clients (pension funds, insurance companies) and wholesale clients (fund selectors, advisory desks). The role will provide broad support to the Country Manager – Co-Head of Private Markets EMEA, elaborating on the business strategy, producing presentation and marketing material for the Italian market, as well as managing relationship with clients.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
Candidates who are studying or intending to study for CFA (or other finance related professional qualifications) will be preferred.
Relevant BSC/BA (Mathematics / Economics or similar) or equivalent qualification or experience required.
Previous experience in a sales role / business development in the industry; having existing relationships with clients/prospects/industry entities.
Knowledge of Private Markets. Experience is appreciated.
Knowledge and understanding of markets and industry trends is needed.
Ability to communicate effectively and knowledgeably with both colleagues and prospective clients.
Highly polished communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Good knowledge and understanding of all major asset classes, with the ability to articulate investment processes knowledgeably and credibly.
