Job Description:

The Integration Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a group of employees within a professional setting. Their duties include relaying information between their team and upper management, guiding their team through daily work activities or projects and monitoring employee performance to ensure maximum productivity.

Additionally, the Integration Services Supervisor is responsible for implementing Managed File Transfer (MFT) best practices with the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator/File Gateway software platform. Integration Services Support team members are expected to provide Level 1, Level 2 and/or Level 3 services and support throughout all aspects of the platform’s lifecycle.

Years of Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator/File Gateway

  • 2-3 years supervisory/team lead experience

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience administering a production MFT software application with industry best practices on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File gateway on Windows.

  • Working knowledge on SQL databases, SQL Server, developing SQL, PL/SQL scripts, functions, and procedures.

  • Proficient in developing and maintaining Business Processes.

  • Experience with data communication protocols (SFTP, HTTP/s, SMTP, FTP, FTPS) and custom protocols.

  • Experience with PGP/GnuPG encryption-decryption.

  • Experience in Routing channel and Routing Channel Template creation.

  • Experience working with XML, XSLT, SOAP.

  • Experience in managing SSL certs.

  • Experience tuning SI property files and components.

  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Trading Partners.

  • Firsthand experience in resolving communication related issues with Trading Partners.

  • Ability to work with messages and documents in different file formats like CSV, XML, EDI.

  • Experience creating PowerShell scripts preferred.

  • Knowledge of SSRS and Splunk report development a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor team members, help guide, advise, and train, as necessary.

  • Consult with Manager on building a high performing team and managing performance.

  • Assist with the interviewing and selection of teammates.

  • Monitor MFT feeds to ensure the successful transmission and delivery of all files.

  • Monitor system alerts for database connectivity, CPU, Memory, and disk space issues.

  • Respond to all MFT Incidents and Requests timely and efficiently.

  • Resolve all issues following documented SOP’s including feed/code changes.

  • Perform routine modifications as requested by stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements for new feeds and improve performance of existing feeds as able.

  • Develop solutions for new feeds/jobs using existing functionality or enhancements to our toolkit.

  • Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical feeds and overall system stability and health.

  • Perform Daily and Weekly Health Checks for MFT.

  • Perform routine tasks during monthly Windows/SQL patching cycles.

  • Consult with Infrastructure (Cybersecurity, DBA, Wintel, Network, Firewall) to resolve Incidents and ensure ongoing stability and sustainability of the platform.

  • Create cases for IBM Support as required.

  • Perform application upgrades including Hotfixes, Patches, OS, SQL, and Application version upgrades as required.

  • Must understand all phases of the project development life cycle using standard methodologies including business and logical analysis, design, and development of software applications.

  • Ability to identify & troubleshoot system/platform issues with thorough understanding of the internal components of applications and databases.

  • Effectively communicate with Business, Technology and Vendor stakeholders.

  • Effectively communicate with Infrastructure resources (Cybersecurity, DBA, Wintel, Network, Firewall).

  • Proven ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner.
