Job Description:
As the Third-Party Database Content Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining our third-party database content. You will collaborate closely with our performance and reporting (P&R) and data & operations teams to update Russell Investments information on database platforms such as eVestment, Mercer GIMD, and Morningstar, to ensure that our monthly and quarterly performance and fund profiles are accurate.
Years of Experience
1 – 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data management, computer science, finance, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with database technologies and data integration tools.
- The ability to gather data points from disparate sources within the firm
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain third-party database content – quantitative and qualitative -- to ensure accuracy and completeness on a monthly/quarterly basis for 350+ funds across multiple platforms and multiple regions.
- Perform data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and rectify data errors and inconsistencies. Attention to detail is a must.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, update processes, and data validation procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT, sales, and client service to understand data requirements and address data-related challenges.
