Role Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) manager will play a vital role in the finance department, supporting management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of key performance indicators including assets under management and net flows for Russell’s global investment management business. You will oversee FP&A functions in India within our global team and will support the Director of FP&A.

Years of Experience

5-7 years of FP&A experience, with preference for candidates with previous financial services experience

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Supervisory or management experience; ability to train and educate team on various aspects of FP&A
  • Advanced Excel skill, with emphasis on financial modeling and reporting, and proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills; financial acumen
  • Knowledge of management reporting systems, such as TM1
  • Strong communication skills; ability to convey complex issues in simple understandable terms
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; focused and driven
  • Ability to own a task, overcome obstacles, and make a recommendations for process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead the continued growth and development of FP&A team, including recruiting, training, and managing team members.
  • Ensure day-to-day responsibilities are managed, coordinated, and delivered timely and accurately
  • Maintain detailed documentation and inventory of all processes
  • Report on key performance metrics at both the corporate and business line levels
  • Support the annual budgeting process, develop and maintain financial forecasting models
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management reports, including assistance with board and executive level presentations
  • Provide ongoing support of management reporting system including hierarchy maintenance and updates to facilitate revenue/cost allocations
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior year
