Job Description:

As an Equity Research team member, this role will involve supporting a broad and diverse team of analysts globally in its drive to identify best in class investment strategies. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and ability to undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment strategies. Strong investment knowledge and communication skills are also a requirement. This position presents the opportunity for future advancement into an investment role.

Years of Experience

Suitable candidates would have at least 3 years of relevant investment experience.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, science, engineering or other finance related field.
  • Understanding of investment principles and asset classes.
  • Ability to understand and use financial theory and tools.
  • Strong quantitative skill set with the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Special Requirements

Time zone flexibility to work with colleagues based in Russell’s different locations globally.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment strategies.
  • Data analysis: respond to spontaneous requests from stakeholders for specific data insights or reports, present results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Preparing supporting content for investment recommendations.
  • Creating investment content for internal/external use.
  • Liaise with members of the team to determine key priorities and objectives.
  • Drive ideas for process improvements.
