Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Mumbai based Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The IAM team is responsible for supporting Russell Investments endpoint privilege management, secrets management, and password manager platforms. These platforms support our least privileged security model. This role requires engineering experience. You’ll work alongside the Seattle based Cybersecurity team, IT support teams, and other groups within Russell Investments to ensure our IAM platforms are configured and performing optimally. Your expertise in IAM technology will be crucial in safeguarding our organization's critical assets and ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.

Years of Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cybersecurity or related field with a focus on IAM platforms

Qualifications

Experience with endpoint privilege manager, secrets management, and password manger platforms, including deploying, configuring, and upgrading.

Special Requirements

Occasional after hours or weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of our endpoint privilege manager, secrets manager, and password manager tools, as well as other IAM related platforms.

  • Create and maintain documentation.

  • Plan and lead various projects, including platform refresh and upgrades.

  • Respond to user requests for elevated access.

  • Understand and enforce Russell Investments security policies and standards.

  • Propose solutions to enhance our security posture.

  • Regularly audit endpoint population to ensure compliance with management systems.

  • Provide monthly metrics on system compliance, as well as other reports as needed.

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GCIH, etc.) are highly desirable.

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar role within Cybersecurity

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and best practices, including network security, host security and application security.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
