Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Supervisor to lead our Mumbai based Cybersecurity Endpoint Security+Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The Endpoint/IAM team is responsible for supporting Russell Investments endpoint privilege management, secrets management, password manager, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Mobile Device Management (MDM/MEM), and next gen Anti-Virus solutions. This role requires both manager/supervisor and cybersecurity engineering experience. You’ll work alongside the Seattle based Cybersecurity team, IT support teams, and other groups within Russell Investments to ensure our IAM platforms are configured and performing optimally. Your expertise in IAM technology will be crucial in safeguarding our organization's critical assets and ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.

Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cybersecurity or related field, with 2-3 years of experience leading a team.

Technical Qualifications

Experience with or knowledge of the following technologies:

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Mobile Device Management (MDM/MEM)

Next Gen Anti-virus (NGAV)

ICAP Anti-virus solution for NAS

Endpoint Privilege Manager

Secrets Management

Password Manager

Special Requirements

Occasional after hours or weekend work as needed.

Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the platforms listed under Technical Qualifications.

  • Create and maintain documentation.

  • Plan and lead various projects, including platform refresh and upgrades.

  • Manage the Endpoint/IAM team members to ensure engagement, motivation, and job satisfaction.

  • Participate in the hiring of new team members.

  • Conduct performance evaluations.

  • Ensure all team members have the materials and resources they need to excel in their individual roles.

  • Organize training and professional development for each team member to facilitate career growth.

General Endpoint/IAM team requirements

  • Configure and maintain Endpoint Security platforms, including DLP, NGAV, MEM/MDM.

  • Investigate DLP related alerts.

  • Ensure all endpoints, including workstations and corporate managed mobile devices are in compliance with corporate standards.

  • Configure and maintain Identity and Access Management platforms.

  • Respond to user requests for elevated access.

  • Understand and enforce Russell Investments security policies and standards.

  • Propose solutions to enhance our security posture.

  • Regularly audit endpoint population to ensure compliance with management systems.

  • Provide monthly metrics on system compliance, as well as other reports as needed.

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GCIH, etc.) are highly desirable.

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar role within Cybersecurity

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and best practices, including network security, host security and application security.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
