Job Description:

This position's primary purpose is to support and enable business unit and corporate reporting requirements. By working with internal finance team members and various business unit clients, this role will facilitate the procurement of standard management reporting, forecasting/planning and analytics across the Investment Division.

Years of Experience

2-5 years finance experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, or related fields

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
  • 2 - 5 years finance experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, or related fields
  • Advanced Excel skills, with emphasis on working with large data sets & reporting; data visualization and work-flow automation tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diligently support and prepare business unit reporting for the Investment Division.
  • Seek opportunities, along with more senior members of the team, to automate processes and find work-flow efficiencies across business units
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Russell’s products, services, organizational structure and systems of information.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of the assigned business units, building client trust and confidence by continuously improving service delivery.
  • Help support centralized or corporate reporting requirements including key performance indicators, sales council materials, board reporting and other regular corporate-level reporting.
  • Assist with research, reporting and analytical support for ad-hoc assignments, contribute to financial presentations.
  • Facilitate in collaboration with the central finance teams to drive processes associated with management of financial records, e.g. revenue/cost allocations, maintenance of hierarchies, cost center management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Developing analytical skills; financial acumen
  • Knowledge of management reporting systems, such as TM1
  • Ability to own a task, overcome obstacles, and make a recommendation
