Job Description:

Every day, we seek to improve financial security for people. Joining our Global Tax team means you will be a part of a passionate and supportive team that believes what we do matters to our clients and investors.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will join a team of tax professionals responsible for managing all corporate tax matters for Russell Investments and its subsidiaries. You will report directly to the Director, International Tax, and will provide support primarily in the area of corporate international tax.

Years of Experience

4+ years of corporate tax experience in a public accounting or corporate environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required, Masters in Taxation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review US corporate income tax, withholding tax and informational returns and other filings related to the Company’s multinational operations.
  • Prepare and review non-US corporate tax filings including corporate income tax returns and Country by Country Reporting.
  • Prepare and review corporate income tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures for multinational entities.
  • Provide support for transfer pricing analysis, tax planning and other special projects.
  • Provide support to the business on indirect tax issues.
  • Research tax issues relating to US and international corporate tax.
  • Support US and international tax audits.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in US corporate tax principles
  • Executes accounting principles and concepts throughout end-to-end processes.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and ability to clearly articulate reasons for decisions.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, time management and project management skills in multiple tasks and competing priorities environment.
  • Must be well-organized, hands-on, detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel required.
  • Experience with tax preparation software (One Source) and Alteryx preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
