Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to work with the APAC Sales & Client Service Team supporting the team to help us grow and retain assets.

The team supports clients through their whole life cycle with Russell Investments. This ranges from helping to win and onboard new business to providing first class support to clients and intermediaries via the APAC offices to retain their business.

The position supports our Institutional and Adviser & Intermediaries prospects and clients as well as well as our platforms and researcher relationships.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the sales efforts across the APAC sales teams: Customized Portfolio Solutions (including services like trading and transition Management), Fiduciary Management/OCIO & Private Markets. It requires strong administrative, analytical and research capabilities.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum Experience in a similar role in the Financial Industry – 1-2 years.

Qualifications

  • Candidates who are studying or intending to study for IMC or CFA (or other finance related professional qualifications) will be preferred.
  • Relevant BSC/BA or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of the asset management industry and investment products.
  • Some previous experience in a similar role in the Financial Service Industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Australia and New Zealand client service teams with the creation and delivery of periodic reports, liaising with internal teams for follow up and approval as necessary.
  • Support the AIS team with completing data templates and product questionnaires for portfolio additions to platforms.
  • Be an active member of the Sales Analyst team by assisting in responding to both internal and external queries received via the group inbox in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Diarise and respond to audit requests for existing clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the team with periodic checks including rebates and invoices, consulting with internal teams to resolve any queries as required.
  • Support the institutional team with daily checks on asset allocation and rebalancing bands, and alert client executives if any client portfolio trading is required.
  • Participate in projects with APAC GTM and Global Sales Operations that help drive data improvements or process improvement, with support in data
  • Leverage technology to support the sales process through effective use and training of the following tools: CRM, Seismic, Outreach, HeyDan, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).

Candidate Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent administrative, problem solving, project managing and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for supporting, improving and innovating the sales process.
  • An understanding of asset management, financial markets, investment concepts, competitors and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the asset management industry and investment products.
  • Candidates who are studying or intending to study CFA (or other finance related professional qualifications) (preferred).
  • Relevant BSC/BA (Finance, Economics, Business Management, Communication, Marketing, ,…). (preferred).
  • Familiarity with some of the commonly used data/ sales intelligence sources and databases in asset management (CRM, Seismic, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, …). (preferred).
