Salary Range:

$120,000 USD - $135,000 USD

Specific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The Product Owner, GRC Platform will own and facilitate a tool to integrate and automate workflow for risk assessments, control testing, compliance monitoring, internal audit, business continuity plan updates, and vendor risk monitoring and oversight. This role will provide transparency, reduce duplicative control functions, and bridge the gap between current and required operational resilience status. You will be responsible for all training, playbook development, issue resolution, and product enhancement requests and prioritization, to include budget planning/requests as needed to support product development and maintenance. This individual will be a key team member to ensure seamless solution implementation to uphold scalability and sustainability over the long term.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a strong level of product knowledge; facilitates and defines functional business unit requirements, process design and solution configuration. This will include identifying and executing improvement projects to enhance user experience, functionality, data management and reporting.
• Acts as trusted advisor to GRC stakeholders; develops and facilitates a cross-functional governance model for the on-going maintenance across the enterprise. Enhance and coordinates governance model across risk, compliance and internal audit.
• Owns training and related documentation to ensure successful adoption and on-going use of product. Develops, owns, maintains, and facilitates training and all supporting documentation of all GRC platform user roles – requestor, contract owner, sourcing, contract review, etc.
• Acts as the first line of product support for all users; owns issue management escalation and designated internal contacts; manages service and incident communication and resolution, troubleshooting problem areas in collaboration with other service providers.
• Acts as the primary vendor manager, managing all obligations and commitments per licensing agreements with Russell Investments; develops metrics, identifying systemic issues and themes to improve product experience and response times from vendor.
• Catalogs and communicates bug issues and fixes as well as product enhancement requests, and recommends how support, upgrades and general management of the governance model will be prioritized, determining projected costs and related impacts; facilitates budget planning, requests, and approval to support product road map as well as run-rate licensing costs and other on-going needs.
• Ensures services and deliverables meet contractual requirements, including management and administration of licenses and other product attributes.
• Provides solutions to lower the cost of application support, leveraging opportunities to lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of the solutions.
• Develops, manages, and executes to – as part of a cross functional team – a multi-year product road map for GRC platform.
• Manages system integrity – proactively works with all business units, sourcing, and finance to ensure integrity of contracts and their related meta data.
• Owns data reporting and works to develop self-service reporting models with usage and efficiency benchmarks for all business units.

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years of product management (strongly preferred), including contracting workflow on-going maintenance; must include hands-on product implementation and experience with system configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred in Business, Finance, Process Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience in business process analysis project methodology; ability to correlate risk compliance and policies to organizational operations.
• Self-motivated and high attention to detail; excellent solution/service orientated skills.
• Strong project management skills: ability to manage large complex projects involving multiple business/ organization unit disciplines; effectively utilizes project plans and methodology, has proven track record of project implementation.
• Ability to build positive and productive working relationships with management, senior leaders and individual contributors from various business units.
• Ability to determine root cause problem/issues and provide solutions/options support with fact-based/data-driven analyses.
• Able to balance and prioritize multiple high priority projects.
