Role Summary:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Marketing Manager to join our EMEA Marketing team. Working closely with global product marketing and EMEA Private Market Sales, the role will be focused on developing and implementing marketing strategies and driving growth for our private markets pillar in EMEA, primarily covering Italy, France and the Middle East across Wealth and Institutional channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent written and communication skills, be collaborative and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
EMEA Marketing
Working with Marketing leaders and EMEA Sales Co-leads, to drive the marketing strategy for the EMEA Private Markets Pillar and deliver high quality, measurable activity.
Ensuring effective campaign management to deliver and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, including events, video, thought leadership, digital (including SEO) and the effective use of social media.
Ongoing website management, including content updates and campaign pages (supported and informed by SEO, Analytics and market insights).
Risk, budget and process management, considering local market regulation, compliance constraints/controls and budget restrictions.
Ownership of marketing effectiveness including ROI and KPIs to demonstrate performance, success, and learning.
Providing visibility of marketing initiatives and activities to stakeholders across the business.
Consistently demonstrating a good understanding of key trends and areas of innovation, which influence the way we interact and engage with our external clients.
Stakeholder management across multiple groups, including Sales Leads & Relationship Managers, Global Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance and Communications.
Business growth & development
Developing and implementing marketing strategy that builds the Russell Investments brand as a trusted partner in Private Markets.
Strengthening our market position, fostering deeper client relationships and driving long-term growth.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
Fluent in English, with Italian language skills being highly desirable.
Experience in Services Marketing, preferably in an Asset Management or Investment Management organisation.
Ability to confidently manage and influence stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the investment management industry.
Wealth Management and Private Markets experience preferred.
Extensive working knowledge and experience of a range of different marketing campaigns.
Proven ability to work on multi-functional projects, demonstrating excellent relationship building, planning and organisational skills.
Understanding of financial promotions compliance.
Excellent time management and a strong attention to detail.
Budget planning & management experience.
Ability to promote and facilitate the work of a group, as well as contribute as a productive member of the team.
Uses a variety of approaches to gain cooperation, overcome barriers, or gain agreement for proposals and ideas.
