Job Description:
The Email Marketing Specialist will create highly targeted and relevant direct marketing campaigns for Russell Investments' prospects and clients, contributing to growth by acquiring new customers and enhancing engagement with existing ones. In collaboration with and under the guidance of the Digital Strategist for EMEA, this role will oversee all operational and technical elements of campaign execution, including development, quality assurance/quality control, lead capture, and reporting. The Email Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for leading email marketing strategy using a Marketing Automation Platform like Eloqua or Marketo.

Qualifications
- Experience working with email marketing, digitial direct marketing or advertising campaigns on either a client side role or agency/service provider.
- Experience with a marketing automation suite, such as Eloqua, Marketo, Hubspot or equivalent email platform.
- Experience with a CRM platform such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong web development proficiency (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), including best practices for cross-email client compatibility/consistency

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of email marketing automation, including email marketing strategy, targeting, offer development, email production, landing page/form production, testing, QA/QC and execution.
- Develop and implement segmentation strategies to personalize email campaigns and enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor and manage email deliverability, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations to maintain high inbox placement rates.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling email content, including copywriting, design, and multimedia elements that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Support and advance our continuous campaign optimization efforts, including analyzing campaign results and tests, gleaning insights from the results and actively contributing new ideas for future tests and program enhancements.
- Support any online rapid response digital communication.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with email marketing platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing, including proficiency in using metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- High attention to detail.
