Salary Range:
$85,000 USD - $120,000 USDSpecific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a Tax Analyst you will join a team of tax professionals responsible for managing all corporate tax matters for Russell Investments and its subsidiaries. You will report directly to the Director, International Tax, and will provide support primarily in the area of corporate international tax. This position will be based in Seattle.
Your Core Responsibilities:
Assist with the international aspects of income tax provision and financial statement reporting.
Prepare and review US income tax, withholding tax and informational returns and other filings related to the foreign operations
Assist with informational filings related to transfer pricing, such as CBCR, local return filings and transfer pricing reports.
Prepare and review Canadian HST/GST filings and provide support to the business on VAT related issues Provide support for transfer pricing analysis, tax planning and other special projects
Research tax issues relating to international tax
Provide support for international tax audits as needed
Your Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA preferred
Masters in Taxation preferred
Minimum 3 years corporate tax experience in a public accounting or corporate environment
Executes accounting principles and concepts throughout end to end processes
Has an understanding of basic tax principles
Demonstrates good judgment and ability to clearly articulate reasons for decisions
Capable of resolving moderately complex analysis, problems, and tasks
Works independently with little to no supervision or guidance
Excellent working knowledge of Excel required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization skills
