Job Description:

Role Summary

As a content management specialist, you will take ownership of the firm’s centralized proposal content repository (Qvidian), ensuring it is effectively structured and maintained to align with our evolving solutions and services. This role requires a proactive approach to content curation, working closely with internal stakeholders to implement a structured update process on a monthly and quarterly basis. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing the content library framework ensuring accuracy, consistency and ease of access for global teams. The candidate is expected to demonstrate experience in managing centralized content databases independently.

While content management remains the primary focus of this role, there is also an opportunity to contribute to the RFP production process by supporting RFP writers in our regional offices. Over time, as capacity allows, you may assist in creating first drafts using content from Qvidian, gaining exposure to the RFP process and working closely with subject matter experts across various business units throughout the firm, such as: sales, investment division, client service, product, compliance, legal, risk, operations, finance, IT, and HR to win business. This additional aspect of the role provides valuable insight into the firm’s business development efforts while maintaining content management as the core responsibility.

Years of Experience

2 – 4 years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Journalism, English or Communications (preferred).

  • Experience in a content management role is essential, preferably in a sales support / business development environment. Proficiency in content management tools is required, with experience in Qvidian, SharePoint, or similar platforms considered a plus.

  • Strong business writing ability with outstanding grammar, proofreading and editing skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task, while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Highly diligent with an eye for detail and exceptional customer service mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience of directly dealing with senior internal stakeholders is preferred.

  • Strong research skills using a variety of proprietary and third-party systems and tools.

  • A solid understanding of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

Content Management:

  • Build knowledge and understanding of Russell Investments’ business, service offerings and strategic priorities.

  • Own and maintain the firm’s centralized content repositories/databases, primarily Qvidian proposal content library and internal SharePoint sites. This includes strategizing and creating a robust folder structure in Qvidian aligned with the firm’s solutions and services, as well as curating and updating standardized content to make it available for wider use.

  • Update sales pitch decks with financial and quantitative statistics available in the repository for use by Go-To-Markets teams.

  • Implement a structured process for content updates, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely revisions on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Be responsible for managing and updating content related to corporate information and client, people and financial statistics housed within an internal SharePoint site.

  • Support the continuous improvement of the content library by identifying gaps, eliminating redundancies, and automating processes where possible.

RFP writing/production:

  • Support regional RFP writers by producing high-quality first drafts of RFPs and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs); writing/editing answers, gathering data from multiple sources (not all centralized), and working closely with a variety of teams.

  • Ensure responses are well-structured, accurate, and tailored to meet the specific requirements of each RFP.

Core Values

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of management.

  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet frequent deadlines.

  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong judgment and decision-making capability.

  • Highly resourceful and collaborative team-player, with the ability to also be independently effective and exude initiative and a sense of urgency.

  • Exemplifies our customer-focused, action-oriented, results-driven culture.

  • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities, has a desire for continuous learning, and proposes solutions.

  • Ability to act with discretion and maintain complete confidentiality.

  • Dedicated to the firm’s values of non-negotiable integrity, valuing our people, exceeding client expectations, and embracing intellectual curiosity and rigor.
