Job Description:

Russell Investments is seeking a Third-Party Risk Management Analyst to support the maintenance of our company’s third-party risk management initiatives for the Global Risk Management (GRM) team. The Third-Party Risk Management Analyst oversight function is responsible for supporting the development of program standards and monitoring adherence to the standards. This role involves collaborating with various subject matter experts to ensure effective oversight and compliance with the third-party risk management program.

Years of Experience

3-5 years of experience in operational risk management or third-party risk management in the financial services industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Knowledge and understanding of the asset management business

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the maturity and implementation of the Third-Party Risk Management program.

  • In coordination with the third-party relationship managers in the first line of defense, establish and maintain agreed upon and documented service level goals which clearly define services provided, realistic expected levels of service, and methods of measurement of those service levels.

  • Monitor service provider performance and risk metrics, providing regular reports to management and relevant stakeholders.

  • Working with the third-party relationship managers, identify potential areas of improvement, develop action plans to implement the improvements, and measure the results of these efforts.

  • Perform risk assessments on current and prospective third parties to identify operational risks and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Facilitate communication between external service providers and internal teams to address risk-related issues and ensure alignment with business objectives as needed.

  • Assist in the creation of third-party risk management documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Participate in third-party provider audits and reviews to evaluate adherence to contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide training and guidance to business units on third-party risk management best practices.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting third-party risk management.
