Job Description:

The Go-To-Market (GTM) CRM Product Manager is the senior CRM authority within the Mumbai GTM organization, responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence of the global Salesforce ecosystem and associated sales technology tools.

This role plays a critical part in enabling Russell Investments’ global go-to-market strategy by ensuring CRM systems, data integrity, and sales technology capabilities effectively support commercial growth, client engagement, and operational scale.

This is a player–coach leadership role. While the individual contributor work centers on advanced business analysis, solution design, and stakeholder alignment, the role also carries accountability as functional and technical lead for the GTM Mumbai CRM team. The position reports to the Director of Sales Operations and partners closely with Sales Operations, GTM leadership, Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure CRM systems are scalable, resilient, and aligned to commercial strategy.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

Leadership & Player-Coach Responsibilities

  • Serve as the hands-on leader responsible for both strategic CRM direction and tactical execution.

  • Mentor and coach CRM team members (10+), guiding them on best practices, technical troubleshooting, and requirements gathering.

  • Lead cross-functional conversations and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Drive change management efforts, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accountability across teams.

  • Set priorities, manage workload, and balance strategic initiatives with urgent operational needs.

Senior Business Analysis:

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements across GTM, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams. Translate commercial strategy into scalable CRM workflows and automation.

  • Produce high-quality functional specifications, process models, and acceptance criteria

  • Lead complex cross-functional requirements initiatives.

  • Produce high-quality functional specifications and oversee structured UAT.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and drive process improvements across GTM functions.

  • Evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests using a structured business value, risk, and scalability framework.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Proactively identify technology and process gaps; design and implement scalable solutions to streamline workflows and enhance system usability.

  • Monitor Salesforce platform enhancements and industry best practices to continuously modernize and optimize the CRM environment.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data insights and user feedback to drive incremental and transformational enhancements.

  • Collaborate closely with analysts, data teams, and cross-functional project contributors to ensure cohesive, well-integrated solution design.

  • Contribute to documentation standards, knowledge sharing, and reusable frameworks that elevate overall team capability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in CRM business analysis, Salesforce solution leadership, or CRM product support roles.

  • 3+ years of management experience

  • Advanced Salesforce configuration and CRM data modeling expertise.

  • Experience with integrations, reporting frameworks, and structured data governance.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with global stakeholders in complex environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred: Financial services (Asset Management) experience and Salesforce certifications.
