Job Description:

The Sales Operations Business Intelligence is responsible for aligning the firm’s sales focus with our highest-impact solutions and improving execution through targeted data-driven management. Specifically, the BI team is responsible for digitizing our sales processes using CRM and other related sales technologies to drive the entire customer journey globally consistently and supporting the integration and enhancement of the firm’s Go-To-Market (GTM) architecture design, data, and technology. In addition to improving our user experience, the team is responsible for enhancing the firm’s global business and sales reporting and analytics.

A Data Governance and CRM Business Intelligence Analyst manages and maintains the organization's GTM data governance policies and procedures, retains the integrity of our CRM data, and creates in-app reporting for our CRM system. The primary role is to drive strategy, execution, and ongoing oversight of data governance projects and standards that support sales technologies' growth and scalability, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

This role targets individuals looking to leverage their experience to grow into a critical central figure within our Global Sales Operations Business Intelligence team and with our internal stakeholders.

You will partner with key organizational stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business needs, perform analysis, and execute solutions to transform the business through governance processes, technology, and policies.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

Data Governance Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the organization's data governance policies and procedures.
  • Help execute the data governance strategy to support the organization's strategic objectives - specifically around self-service
  • Ensure that the organization's data is managed and used in compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Create and maintain a data catalog, documenting the organization's data assets and use.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure data is used effectively and efficiently.
  • Implements solutions to improve data quality for all data domains
  • Evaluating and assessing upstream solutions to reduce manual ad-hoc data requests flowing regularly into the sales operations inbox
  • Support projects that impact data migration and data governance

CRM Business Intelligence Responsibilities:

  • Develop dashboards and user reports with our CRM system
  • Support and standardize data integrity reporting within our CRM system
  • User follow-up on getting data integrity issues resolved
  • Collaborate with CRM Developers and Business Analyst to streamline processes and reduce data integrity errors

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences, including the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related Information Technology/Engineering discipline
  • Strong knowledge of and work experience with SQL or other querying languages used with relational databases is required
  • Strong focus on Automation using AI, Python or ML
  • Knowledge of technical system requirements and operational processes and procedures in an asset management, management consulting, financial services, or sales organization is a plus
  • Experience with data, data architecture, modeling, trends analysis, and statistics
  • Experience with data integration, system consolidation, data management, and business reporting
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Technical background with strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and pattern-recognition skills
  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
  • Ability to work independently and effectively on a team, with demonstrated entrepreneurial drive
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • The ability to understand business questions/pain points and alleviate them with supporting data
