Job Description:

Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment.

We are seeking an Apprentice to support the firm’s investment governance process. This role focuses on the assessment, review, and approval of new products, services, and change events across the firm’s global investment management and brokerage businesses across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Eligibility

  • Should not be self-employed

  • Should not be enrolled under other government-funded programs

  • Should not be practicing professionally at the time of application

  • Should not be registered on EPF/ ESIC Portal

Apprentices who enroll should have their Aadhaar seeded with their personal mobile number and personal email address. This is a mandate.

Key Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end governance of new products, services, and change events
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews with stakeholders including portfolio management, trading, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and technology
- Facilitate assessment of operational readiness, risks, and controls for new initiatives
- Track and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely progress and approvals
- Prepare governance materials and documentation for internal committees and stakeholders
- Identify potential risks or gaps and escalate issues as needed
- Maintain strong communication across teams to ensure alignment and transparency

Qualifications

- Basic understanding of financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange
- Familiarity with investment processes, trading workflows, or investment reporting is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
