Job description: Jr. Marketing Enablement Specialist

Position Summary

Russell Investments is seeking a Jr. Marketing Enablement Specialist to support and advance our marketing operations capabilities through the effective administration, optimization, and adoption of marketing enablement technologies and workflows.

This role serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Adobe Workfront, while also supporting other marketing enablement platforms including Seismic, Marq, Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, and emerging marketing technologies. A significant portion of this role (approximately 60-70%) will be dedicated to Workfront administration, workflow optimization, user support, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Marketing Enablement Specialist will partner closely with Regional Channel Marketing, Creative Services, Digital, Sales Enablement, Global marketing and Technology teams to design scalable workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enable seamless collaboration across the marketing ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in marketing operations, project and workflow management, process improvement, and marketing technology platforms to help drive efficient, scalable, and measurable marketing execution across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Technology Administration & Enablement

  • Serve as the primary administrator and platform owner for Adobe Workfront, including configuration, maintenance, governance, and user support.

  • Manage platform setup, portfolios, programs, projects, templates, custom forms, reporting, dashboards, automations, user provisioning, permissions, and license allocation.

  • Support administration and optimization of additional marketing enablement platforms including Seismic, Marq, Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, and other marketing technologies.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Creative Services, and Technology teams to identify opportunities for platform enhancements and process improvements.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable workflows, automation, reporting solutions, and system configurations.

Marketing Workflow & Process Optimization

  • Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end marketing workflows including intake management, project planning, campaign execution, review and approval processes, asset creation, and content delivery.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through workflow redesign, automation, and best practices.

  • Establish and maintain standards for work management, project governance, and operational consistency across marketing teams.

  • Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

Platform Adoption, Training & Support

  • Drive enterprise adoption of marketing enablement platforms through user training, onboarding, documentation, and change management activities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for platform usage, troubleshooting, and workflow best practices.

  • Develop training materials, user guides, and governance documentation to support ongoing platform maturity.

  • Gather user feedback and recommend enhancements that improve the overall user experience and platform effectiveness.

Reporting & Operational Insights

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide visibility into project status, resource capacity, campaign timelines, and operational performance.

  • Provide actionable insights to marketing leadership regarding workflow efficiency, platform utilization, project throughput, and resource allocation.

  • Monitor adoption and platform health metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and user engagement.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain governance frameworks for project intake, workflow standards, metadata structures, asset management, and platform administration.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to operational processes across marketing platforms.

  • Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and capabilities that support increased efficiency, collaboration, and scalability.

  • Support integration initiatives between Workfront and other Adobe Experience Cloud and marketing technology platforms.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3-4 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing Operations, or related disciplines.

  • 2+ years of hands-on Adobe Workfront administration experience required.

  • Experience configuring workflows, automation, dashboards, reporting, and governance frameworks within enterprise platforms.

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable operational processes and technology solutions.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and driving platform adoption within a matrixed organization.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Workfront Certification.

  • Experience with Seismic or equivalent, Marq (formerly Lucidpress), Adobe Experience Manager Assets (AEM Assets), or other Digital Asset Management platforms.

  • Experience supporting sales enablement and content management platforms.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem and related integrations.

  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).

  • Experience with workflow automation and process improvement methodologies.
