Field Associate Supervisors (FAS) play a critical role in the success of DataScan’s operations. They provide real‑time, proactive support to our Field Risk Specialists (FRS), ensuring they have the operational guidance needed to perform effectively in the field.
FAS work both independently and collaboratively to drive productivity, efficiency, and consistency across their assigned teams. They are responsible for timely mentoring, coaching, and corrective action to maintain high standards of client satisfaction and risk management across DataScan’s client portfolio. Broad adaptation, knowledge, and embracing different technology to ensure audit requests are assigned properly is a key responsibility.

The Field Associate Supervisor (FAS) is a field-based position. Working from a home-based office, this position will supervise assigned auditors in a defined territory as a key responsibility. The FAS role requires visiting Clients and Associates to conduct onsite quality assurance (QA) reviews; data gathering on dealers or scheduling; developing rapport with Associates and Clients while representing DataScan. The FAS will also complete audits as needed.

The (FAS) covers the Northeast United States. The current geographic territory includes all or parts of the following states: Pennsylvania, NJ, DE and MD. The FAS has responsibility for coordinating schedules for their associate team, managing a team of field associates and interacting with Clients in regard to schedules, audits and personnel

The Field Associate Supervisor will also:
Build effective and efficient schedules while optimizing resources for each month and maintain changes to the current month’s schedule on a daily basis
Be responsible for guiding the training process of new and current Associates and Part-time resources to assure competency in the audit process
Mentoring, coaching and constructive analysis of Field Associates
Provide effective communication to direct reports
Exhibit professional behavior when interacting with Clients and Dealers by keeping a professional distance, exercising unquestionable ethics and maintaining impartiality in the audit process
Collaborate with the Field Supervisor team to identify and implement efficiencies, cover scheduling needs across territories and provide back-up coverage as needed for other territories
Assist Manager in headcount justifications and evaluations
Conduct interviews and assist in Associate and Part-Time resource onboarding/offboarding
Guide development of Associate skills, assessment of performance and coaching as needed
Evaluate and report on Associate performance
Travel to customer/client sites
Travel to DataScan Corporate Offices
  • Preferred candidate resides or is willing to relocate within or adjacent to the territory supervised. Candidates residing outside that geographic area will be considered based on strength of leadership experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a DataScan Field Risk Specialist preferred
  • Demonstrate business maturity
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a team
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills required
  • Ability to manage time and multiple tasks independently
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • College degree or related experience preferred
  • Competency with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Works well under pressure
  • Team player, works well with others
  • Valid driver’s license
