Professional Services at Solifi is a customer-facing team responsible for the implementation of the Solifi solutions and providing consulting services for our clients. They are seen as experts on our solutions and the industries they serve. They provide value to our clients by efficiently and effectively completing software implementations and providing expertise on the use of the software. You’ll work with customer’s business and IT executives and end-users to conceptualize ideal solutions, recommend resources and strategies, and then design the business processes and functional requirements for our product implementation and product development operations.
Responsible for interacting with potential, new, and existing clients on a variety of projects including new system implementations, client upgrades, business acquisitions or expansions, and new business initiatives.

The Solutions Consultant serves as a subject matter expert on DataScan’s products and the wholesale finance/risk management industry. Participate and lead simple to moderately complex product implementations (gap analysis, requirements gathering, system configuration, and client assistance). Lead interactions with clients on business needs. Serve as an escalation point from anywhere in the company to assist with client needs.
Not all responsibilities apply to all products. Responsibilities will be determined based on the product to which you are assigned.
• Client Projects/Implementation Management
o Coordinate and support client conversion, UAT, and parallel testing efforts, including issue management, triage, research, delegation and follow ups
o Oversee project tasks and deliverables to ensure schedules are maintained, and project hours are correctly tracked and reported
o Lead and/or participate in client Business Observation and implementation workshops.
o Draft and maintain accurate implementation status reports and project plans ensuring their timely delivery
o Ensure that all parties understand client data for conversions and validate converted data before delivery to clients
o Manage client environments regarding upgrades, backups, data refreshes, and configuration
o Create and manage business requirements documents, including ensuring that development teams, testing teams and clients have clear understanding of gaps to be developed and ensure requirements are met.
• Client Solutions/Industry Consulting
o The ability to advise clients on what they SHOULD do, not just what they COULD do.
o The ability to explain complex, technical concepts in simple, easy to understand terms.
o Provide consulting to clients on DataScan products and services, and industry best practices to ensure product will meet client’s business needs
o Review business requirements documents written by other team members for accuracy and completeness.
o Elicit information from client to identify and define system functionality gaps
o Review internal and external documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Client Success/Support Activities
o Document client business processes and procedures for internal support staff
o Assist with team efforts to streamline processes and procedures
o Mentor junior team members on product functionality, clients' business processes, and general wholesale finance and risk management industry acumen
o Manage issues and escalations raised by client internally, including triage, research, delegation, and follow ups
o Provide ad hoc training sessions and demos on DataScan Products features and functionality
o Document, configure, test and validate automation jobs
o Coordinate and lead client training, including scheduling, logistics, and follow ups
• Business Development Support Activities
o Participate in sales process by conducting product demonstrations
o Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 3-5 years project management, business analysis, or client engagement experience in a lead role. • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Proven ability to analyze a client’s business needs and recommend effective solutions • Excellent facilitation skills • Lead cross-functional initiatives by independently identifying the right stakeholders across the organization, building relationships, and proactively seeking information when ownership or next steps are unclear. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent analytical and written communication skills • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills • Self-starter - Ability to work both independently and as a team member • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities • Ability to travel up to 30% • Understanding of Wholesale Finance and/or Wholesale Risk Management preferred • Prior experience with enterprise financial software application implementation preferred • Familiarity with relational databases/SQL preferred
