Solifi deliver a solid financial technology foundation for equipment, working capital, wholesale, and automotive finance firms. At Solifi, we believe that commerce is only as strong as the system it runs on. Our mission is to reshape finance technology by bringing together proven solutions into a singular powerful technology platform designed to help protect and scale financial organizations. We guard our customers by being precise and reliable, we guide their success by combining powerful technology with proven expertise, and we help them grow by unleashing their potential.
The Corporate Infrastructure team builds and supports the foundational technology that powers Solifi’s global operations. With a primary responsibility for core back-office IT and infrastructure services, the team manages connectivity, access, endpoints, and cloud platforms across offices and remote employees worldwide. The team works cross-functionally with Security, Enterprise Applications, and IT Service Management to establish standards, respond to incidents, and scale services that meet the needs of the organization. The infrastructure team focuses on delivering resilient, secure, and well-governed infrastructure at scale.
The Manager, Infrastructure Engineering is a hands-on, player-coach leader responsible for the reliability, security, and scalability of the company’s global corporate infrastructure. You will lead a small team of network and systems engineers while personally owning and executing key technical work across network connectivity, identity and access, endpoint management, and cloud infrastructure where applicable—supporting employees and offices across North America, the UK, and APAC. This role partners closely with Security, Enterprise Applications, and ITSM to enforce standards, drive operational excellence, and continuously improve the employee technology experience.
Player-Coach Leadership (Hands-On + People Management)

Lead and develop a small team of network and systems engineers; set priorities, coach technical execution, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Remain technically hands-on (typically 30–60%): design, implement, troubleshoot, and automate key infrastructure services.

Establish a culture of operational rigor: documentation, root-cause analysis, ticket hygiene, and measurable service levels.

Global Infrastructure Reliability & Operations

Own availability, performance, and reliability of core infrastructure services globally (office connectivity, remote access, core network services, cloud connectivity, identity-dependent services).

Lead major incident response and coordination; produce post-incident reviews (PIRs) with corrective and preventative actions.

Implement monitoring and alerting, runbooks, escalation standards, and an on-call model aligned to business criticality.

Drive problem management to reduce repeat incidents and improve mean time to resolve (MTTR).

Network & Access (Offices + Remote Workforce)

Standardize and govern global office network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), including segmentation, resiliency tiers, and performance standards.

Own secure remote access patterns with Security, including Zscaler policy operations and access-path troubleshooting.

Improve network change discipline (configuration standards, peer review, maintenance windows, rollback planning).

Manage ISP/carrier and network/security vendor relationships; enforce SLAs and optimize cost/performance.

Foundations and Governance

Own the reliability and security of identity foundations impacting infrastructure access (Okta integrations, SSO/MFA posture, access policy troubleshooting)

Partner with End-User Services to enforce endpoint baselines via Intune (enrollment, compliance, configuration profiles, patch posture, device security baselines)

Drive access/device operational hygiene (least privilege, access reviews, compliance reporting, standardized enrollment/join processes)

Operate and govern corporate Azure infrastructure services (as applicable), including connectivity, monitoring, access patterns, and change control. Establish standards for tagging, resource organization, RBAC, cost visibility, and environment hygiene

Own infrastructure service governance and compliance readiness in partnership with Security and ITSM, Jira Service Management workflows, prioritization and SLAs, risk-based change management and auditability, vulnerability/patch posture alignment, logging/telemetry expectations, and secure admin controls (segmentation, certificate/secret hygiene). Partner with Data/Analytics as needed to ensure infrastructure readiness and guardrails for evolving platforms (e.g., Fabric/OneLake).
  • 5+ years in infrastructure engineering across network and systems; 2+ years leading/mentoring engineers (formal people management experience preferred).

  • Strong networking expertise (routing/switching, firewalls, VPN/remote access, Wi-Fi, segmentation) and deep troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrated operational discipline: incident/problem/change management, monitoring, documentation, and measurable service delivery.

  • Vendor management experience with SLA accountability.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, especially during incidents and high-impact changes.

  • Experience in a high-growth or private equity-owned B2B software environment with global offices and a distributed workforce preferred.

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust and SASE operating models preferred.

  • Jira Service Management experience (workflow design, SLAs, reporting, automation rules) preferred.

  • Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell/Python) and exposure to infrastructure-as-code practices preferred.

  • Certifications (nice to have): ITIL Foundations, Azure certifications, Okta/Zscaler training, CCNA/CCNP, Security+.

  • Leadership Behaviors:

  • Player-coach mindset: can dive into technical details, unblock incidents, and coach others while scaling repeatable practices.

  • Operational excellence: disciplined processes, clean documentation, and continuous improvement through PIRs and metrics.

  • Security-first pragmatism: partners effectively with Security to reduce risk while maintaining business continuity.

  • Global-first thinking: designs services that work across regions, time zones, and variable connectivity conditions.
