The Work You'll Do:

Sovos is seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to lead and inspire our team of Sales Executives in achieving revenue targets and fostering client relationships. As a Director of Sales at Sovos, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding your team to success while driving continuous improvement in sales effectiveness and efficiency.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Executives, providing guidance and support to achieve subscription revenue targets and quotas.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within named accounts.
  • Drive continuous pipeline generation and business development efforts, ensuring a robust sales funnel to support revenue goals.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to support your team in securing favorable pricing and business terms with customers, emphasizing value and ROI.
  • Foster collaboration across the organization by effectively engaging and leveraging Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Professional Services resources to support sales initiatives.
  • Champion sales methodology and processes, including Salesforce (SFDC) and MEDDPICC, ensuring adoption and adherence by the sales team.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other sales leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and optimize resource deployment to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales roles, preferably in SaaS, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets and quotas.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to peak performance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies and processes, including Salesforce (SFDC) and MEDDPICC.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
