The Work You’ll Do:
The Senior Marketing Operations & Budget Analyst at Sovos Compliance LLC plays a dual role, combining the financial oversight of marketing budget management and procurement with the technical and strategic responsibilities of marketing operations. This position is essential for ensuring that the marketing department operates efficiently, both financially and operationally. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in marketing finance and procurement, as well as extensive experience in marketing operations, particularly in managing marketing technologies like Marketo. This individual will be key in aligning financial resources with strategic goals and optimizing marketing processes to drive data-driven decision-making and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Management & Procurement (50%):
- Budget Oversight: Manage the marketing budget within Monday.com, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and allocation of funds in line with company objectives.
- Spend Guidance: Provide financial guidance and recommendations to marketing teams, ensuring that budget allocations support strategic goals and maximize ROI.
- Procurement Operations: Oversee procurement processes, including managing purchase orders (POs) and tracking invoices in NetSuite, ensuring compliance with company policies and budget constraints.
- Vendor Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding of new vendors, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with company standards.
- Financial Reporting: Generate detailed reports on actual versus planned marketing spend, providing insights to senior management to support informed financial decision-making.
Marketing Operations (50%):
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate with marketing and field marketing teams to build, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns in Marketo. Ensure campaigns are launched on time, targeted effectively, and aligned with business objectives.
- Marketo Management: Utilize advanced Marketo skills to set up, test, and optimize campaign workflows, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and automated processes. Ensure accurate data capture and tracking to support campaign performance analysis.
- MarTech Implementation: Drive the selection, implementation, and optimization of new marketing technologies within the MarTech stack.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze marketing data to provide insights and recommendations, maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor key performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Experience with budget tracking and procurement operations using NetSuite.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related role, with strong expertise in Salesforce and Marketo.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and marketing data, providing actionable insights.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in both financial and operational processes.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Advance english communication skills
