The Work You'll Do:

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Sovos, a leader in global tax compliance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistently delivering on subscription revenue targets, with a commitment to deadlines and accurate forecasting. They will be responsible for strategic territory planning, pipeline generation, business development, and negotiating favorable pricing and terms with customers.

More specifically you will:

  • Consistently deliver on subscription revenue targets, demonstrating a commitment to deadlines and accurate forecasting.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans based on named accounts and opportunity management, focusing on continuous pipeline generation and business development.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with customers, emphasizing value and return on investment (ROI).
  • Effectively engage and leverage Sales Engineering, Business Value Advisors, and Professional Services resources to support sales initiatives, fostering collaboration across the organization.
  • Utilize and champion our sales methodology and processes, including Salesforce (SFDC) and MEDDPICC, to drive sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate as a team player and good corporate citizen, facilitating a two-way flow of relevant and timely information to optimize resource deployment and maximize efficiency.
  • Leverage our partner ecosystem of resellers, managed service providers, and global system integrators (GSIs) to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B (preferably SaaS) sales roles, experience with complex sales cycles involving multiple influencers/decision makers. Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets and quotas.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to sell on value and ROI.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leveraging resources effectively to drive sales success.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies and processes, including Salesforce (SFDC) and MEDDPICC.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • In the US: Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
