The Work You'll Do:

The Solutions Architect – US is leading the design and implementation of the IT systems to support both the SaaS product operations and the public cloud infrastructure of a global software company. This position will provide leadership across a number of functional and technical areas of Cloud Operations, including systems analysis, system design, development, integration and delivery across multiple product lines built on a variety of application stacks. The organization will depend on this person's expertise and experience with complex technical activities as a leader for design and implementation of new systems.

More specifically, you will:

• Designs and architects web applications using modern techniques
• Develops and leads technical direction of complex infrastructure work
• Prepares technical design documents and blueprints for all systems
• Leads all supporting activities for SaaS environment
• Leads the team to build highly scalable solutions which are instrumented for monitoring and user feedback
• Work with all stakeholders to ensure the product meets all functional requirements
• Creates and evaluates technical alternatives for complex applications
• Solid understanding of virtual, physical, and networking environments and technologies
• Work as an agile architect in an environment which utilizes Scrum methodology
• Serve as a principal technical client advocate and liaison for internal teams and clients on an as-needed basis
• Develop deployment integration architecture and recommend an execution plan
• Develop appropriate architecture design schematics
• Monitor and provide guidance on and suggestions for continuous process improvement.
• Demonstrates initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth.

What We Ask From You:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect or Applications Architect.
• Success working with cloud business solutions; preference for Salesforce, NetSuite and/or Zuora.
• Experience working with and knowledge of modern data architectures, infrastructure, and tools (e.g. AWS, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Tableau etc.)
• Ability to architect and design end to end solutions by taking into account the user needs and the technology landscape
• Ability to have confident techno-functional conversations with cross functional teams across departments.
• Experience in data governance, data management and data analytics, particularly in a matrix environment is a plus.
• Strong concepts of performance optimizations and best practices for business systems and architecture
• Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects and motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Insatiable desire for continuous improvement and optimization; balance of gut-feel judgement and logical analysis; ability to make difficult decisions; a “starter-finisher” in executing initiatives
• Strong overall work ethic and tolerance for ambiguity with desire to operate in a practical, hands-on environment
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Due to federal contracts - successful candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug test before hire
